Leonardo DiCaprio Reportedly The Favorite To Play The Joker In Upcoming Scorsese Produced Solo Film

The last few weeks have no been so kind on Warner Bros. and the DCEU, with rumors running rampant all over the web. From seeming confirmation that Ben Affleck wasn't going to be Batman in Matt Reeves' upcoming solo movie (Which has since been debunked), to the news that a Joker movie was in the works without Jared Leto, its become hard to track whats real and whats fake. Well it seems the last bit about a Joker movie may actually be true, as the studio seem to already have an actor in mind to take over in the role. None other than Leonardo DiCaprio is reportedly the top choice to play the lead in the project, which will be produced by Leo's longtime collaborator Martin Scorcese (The Wolf of Wall Street).

The rumor was reported by The Hollywood Reporter, who claim Warner Bros. are hoping Scorsese will help lower DiCaprio to the project. It sounds like it will be a solo DC based project outside of the expanded universe, amongst many others the studio has in the pipeline. With the DCEU having struggled in the past, this could be a cool way to see a different (And maybe even better) take on certain characters. The movie was thought to be a Joker origin story, but apparently will follow him as a crime boss in Gotham. Its certainly sounds like a film up both Scorsese and DiCaprio's alley, and it will be directed by Hangover director Todd Phillips.
The choice is certainly inspired, as DiCaprio has proven time and time again he is one of the greatest actors of our generation. He has finally earned himself an Oscar, and we've seen the rage and passion he has brought to roles that are required by any actor who plays a role as iconic as The Joker. The only problem comes with Jared Leto, who is portraying the current DCEU version of the character. The actor is reportedly not happy with the idea of DiCaprio simultaneously playing the role, which is very understandable.
While DiCaprio's version will be completely separate from the other DC movies (We won't see him facing Ben Affleck's Batman at any point), it may be a hard idea for audiences to get behind. For one thing, despite how passionate he was of the role, Leto's portrayal of The Joker in Suicide Squad was not well received. The actor had many of his scenes cut, and also had the misfortune of proceeding Heath Ledger's brilliant performance. DiCaprio's Joker could be a match made in heaven, and give us a worthy Clown Prince of Crime up there with Ledger and Jack Nicholson's iconic versions.

Riz Ahmed Joins Tom Hardy In Sony's 'Venom' Movie; Could He Be Playing Carnage?

Ever since the character's less then stellar appearance in Spider-Man 3, Venom hasn't made his way to the big screen since. Well after several years in development hell, Sony finally seems to have gotten their act together on a solo Venom film. Just a few months ago, we learned that acclaimed actor Tom Hardy had been cast in the title role of Eddie Brock. We also found out Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) would be directing the projecting, and it will apparently have an R rating. Despite speculation about whether it will or will not take place in the MCU, we now have gotten our second bit of casting news.

According to Variety, Riz Ahmed has joined Venom in a key role as a fan favorite Marvel character. While there's many candidates to speculate over, one clear choice is Cletus Kasady aka Carnage. We've already heard for sometime that Carnage would be the villain of the film, and would loosely adapt the famous Carnage vs. Venom comic. Ahmed is not the first person to come to mind when you think of Kasady from the comics, but seeing him face off against Hardy would certainly make for some great performances.
Although the site suggest Ahmed is already in talks for the mystery role, apparently many other well known actors were up for the part including Matt Smith (Dr. Who), Pedro Pascal (Narcos), and Matthias Schoenaerts (Red Sparrow). All three are very accomplished actors, but really don't provide any clue as to who the character may be. Ahmed probably has the strongest chance considering his recent credit in the big screen Star Wars film Rogue One, as well as his acclaimed work as the lead in HBO's The Night Of
While we might not know much about the film right now, the Venom movie is certainly getting some exciting big names on board. Sony is banking of the film to start their own series of Spider-Man spinoffs, including the upcoming female led Silver and Black (Featuring characters Black Cat and Silver Sable). Its still is hard to tell whether Hardy's Venom (And possibly Ahmed's Carnage) will be featured in the MCU, but it would be exciting to see them face off against Tom Holland's Spidey.
So what do you think of Riz Ahmed possibly playing Carnage? Is their another character you would like to see him play? Let us know below!

'Ant-Man and The Wasp' Reveals Cast Including The Likes Of Michelle Pfeiffer And Laurence Fishburne

The leaked Avengers: Infinity War trailer might've stolen the show at Marvel's Comic-Con panel this year, but there were some other exciting announcements made about upcoming solo movies as well. One such announcement was the reveal of the cast and characters that will be joining Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly's Ant-Man and Wasp, and the upcoming sequel to the 2015 film. Ant-Man was a surprise hit despite early troubles after losing director Edgar Wright, and took some liberties from the comics by making Hank Pym a 70 year old Michael Douglas, and his daughter as the new Wasp. But now we know who else will be joining the returning core cast of the first film (T.I., Michael Pena, Douglas, and more).

Marvel announced that Michelle Pfeiffer will be portraying Hank Pym's wife Janet van Dyne, the past Wasp who was thought to be dead after she was lost in quantum realm (A fate Scott Lang almost shared in the first movie). While both Hank and Hope believe Janet to be dead, this news basically confirms she is still somehow alive and will be making an appearance in the movie. Its unknown how important she will be to the plot, but its certainly exciting to see Pfieffer back in a comic book role (Previously Catwoman in Batman Returns) opposite Douglas.
Another big name announced was Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix), who will be coming on born as Bill Foster. Foster was a colleague of Pym in the comics, who became Goliath and eventually the second Giant-Man in the comics. While its unlikely we'll see him suit up as Goliath in the film, its possible he had teamed up with Pym and Janet's Ant-Man and Wasp during their past missions. The other characters confirmed are Randall Park as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Jimmy Woo and Walton Goggins as smaller villain Sonny Burch.
The new poster shown at Comic-Con featuring Lang, Van Dyne, Luis, Lang's daughter Cassie, and Pym
Lastly, we finally learned who the film's villain would be, and that's Ghost to be played by Hannah John-Kamen (Ready Player One). The character is typically and Iron Man villain in the comics, and invents a suit that allows them to become invisible. Given Ant-Man's smaller (And less impressive) rogues gallery, the character of Ghost seems like a good fit as a villain given the fact the she also wear a tech based suit with impressive abilities.
So what do you think of the recent casting announcements for Ant-Man and The Wasp? Are you more interested in the movie now? Let us know below!

Full 'Avengers: Infinity War' Trailer Shown At Comic-Con Leaks Online For The Rest Of Us Fans

While not all of us can make it out to San Diego for Comic-Con, we still get to hear and see some of the very exciting announcements made there every year. Unfortunately, many Marvel fans were hoping the studio would drop some sort of footage from their upcoming massive team-up film; Avengers: Infinity War. But sadly, that wasn't the case, as we were limited to descriptions and left praying someone would leak the footage. Well it seems our prayers have been answered, cause not only did a piece of the trailer leak, but now a full version has popped up online. Enjoy.

Here is the full trailer that was shown:

The footage is pretty overwhelming, and matches with the descriptions we've read. It starts on a lighter tone with Thor crashing onto the windshield of Star-Lord's ship The Milano. It then gets much darker, but some highlights include Peter Parker rocking the amazing Iron Spider suit offered to him at the end of Homecoming. Another is Bucky Barnes being unfrozen and an entire army of Wakandan soldiers lead by Black Panther ready to head into battle. We also get a glimpse of an emotional scene between Tony and Peter, and a face off between Tony and Thanos. Its a lot to take in, but watch it while you still can folks.
Two parts of the full Comic-Con poster given to fans

Spidey isn't the only character we see get a makeover in this movie, as we see a badass long haired and bearded Steve Rogers (Not as Captain America). Rumor has it he has vacated the mantle and will be taking on the identity of Nomad, like he did in the comics. Black Widow also isn't sporting her trademark red hair, and instead will have blonde locks this time around. From what we can gather, Thor somehow ends up in space after the events of Ragnarok and comes across the Guardians. In the meantime, Rogers is in Wakanda where Bucky is being kept and presumably fights alongside T'Challa's army. And Scarlet Witch and Vision are both imprisoned somewhere, but its too vague to tell where.

'Captain Marvel' Concept Art Reveals Skrulls Will Be The Villains; Film Will Take Place In The 90s

Following the success of DC's Wonder Woman this past March, Captain Marvel will be Marvel's first attempt at having a female led solo film, and it looks as though it is gearing up to be something that may change the landscape they've built over the past few years. Thanks do San Diego Comic-Con, we've received our first look at actress Brie Larson in armor style suit that displays the traditional Captain Marvel red, gold, and navy blue color palette. We've also gotten some interesting and unexpected bits of information on the film, including who the villains will be, and what time period it will be taking place in.

Below is some of the concept art revealed at Comic-Con for Captain Marvel:
Much to the surprise of fans, the film will apparently be taking place in the 1990s. This sets the film before the events of the first Iron Man, and will include a two eyed Nick Fury, so this may possibly hint at how Fury injured his eye. Samuel L. Jackson will of course of to be de-aged in the film using CGI, but its unknown how Carol Danvers will now fit in the modern time line. Will she be an older character? Does she not age? How the film will play into the rest of the MCU is still unclear and makes you question the fate of the heroine, as her absence has been present throughout the MCU for decades. We should expect all this to be answered in theaters two years from now.
Yet that wasn't the only surprise fans were greeted with, as it was revealed the film's villains will be none other than the shapeshifting aliens; the Skrulls. This comes as a surprise as it was thought the rights to the characters were stuck over at Fox, and couldn't be used in the MCU. The inclusion of the Skrulls may play into some type of adaption of the Avengers: Secret Invasion storyline, in which many of the Earth's Mightiest Heros were replaced by the aliens. Further concept art shows Captain Marvel taking on a number of soldiers and this may leave us to believe that potentially she may go on to fight the likes of the Super Skrull.
How do you feel about the concept art that was released? Do you think the Infinity War sequel will touch upon this? Let us know in the comment section!

DC Announces Their Upcoming Slate Of Films Including A Surprising Adaption Of The 'Flashpoint' Storyline

As one would expect, DC's main focus at Comic-Con this year was to promote the upcoming Justice League film. But thankfully the studio had some announcements in store, clarifying their future slate of movies including Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad sequels, a Batgirl movie, Justice League Dark to name a few. But probably the most exciting of them all was their adaption of one of the most critically acclaimed storylines published by DC: Flashpoint Paradox. It has been revealed that this will be the title and plot for Ezra Miller's upcoming Flash solo film. The storyline traditionally follows the plot of the Flash stopping the death of his mother, in turn causing a shift in time and space that changes the fate of the Justice League as we know it.

One key component of the storyline is the inclusion of the Reverse Flash, but with no casting news imminent it may be somewhere in the near future that we receive any additional casting news pertaining to the Flash. The film is also still waiting on a director, with several names having been thrown around but Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future) still as the seeming favorite. Currently the only people connected with the film are Ezra Miller, who is playing the title character, Billy Krudup as his father Henry Allen, and Kiersey Clemons who will be playing his love interest Iris West.
Interesting fan theories state that the Flashpoint may be the turning point for the DCEU to try and correct mistakes believed to be made in prior DCEU films, similar to how the Fox's X-Men franchise utilized the Days of Future Past storyline in order to correct the course of the films made in the past. Will it seems unlikely the studio would want to make such drastic changes to their established universe so soon after a Justice League film, fans are hoping these changes could make things closer to how they are in the comics. The film has no release date yet, but joins a stacked slate of films including 2019's Shazam, Suicide Squad 2, Wonder Woman 2, Batgirl, Green Lantern Corps, The Batman, and Justice League Dark.
It is also possible that Walking Dead stars Lauren Cohen and Jeffrey Dean Morgan could reprise their roles from Batman v. Superman as Martha and Thomas Wayne. In the Flashpoint paradox, Bruce Wayne is murdered as a child during the robbery that takes place in the alley, turning his mother into an insane version of The Joker, and his father into a gun wielding version of the Dark Knight himself. Snyder cast to actors very capable of bringing these roles to life, so the idea of the coming back is both exciting and very likely at the moment. It adds a whole new layer to Bruce's parents that we have yet to see on screen in past films.
Who would you like to see appear in the Flash solo film? Do you think we will get a true adaption of the comic and animated film? Run to the comment section below!

New Extended SDCC 'Justice League' Trailer Debuts Alongside An Alex Ross Inspired Poster

We thought the age of heroes may never come again, but at San Diego Comic-Con this year, Warner Brothers have debuted a new poster and trailer for their hero ensemble Justice League film which is scheduled to be released later this year. Ben Affleck's Batman and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman lead the band of heroes including Ezra Miller's the Flash, Ray Fisher's Cyborg, and Jason Momoa's Aquaman, against a threat in Steppenwolf. The trailer gives us a much better feel of the movie, but leaves us with many questions including how much has Joss Whedon changed of Snyder's original film, and is Superman showing up in the film after all?

Below is the all new Comic-Con trailer for Justice League:
And here is the Alex Ross inspired poster for the film:
One thing that fans are still concerned about is the missing link within the film that is Henry Cavil's Superman, who seemingly died at the end of Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Yet it has been revealed that he will make an appearance in some capacity through a number of the promotional material and comments at the panel by cast member Gal Gadot. The new poster that debuted at SDCC 2017 clearly draws inspiration from Alex Ross, and can be considered one of the most unique comic book movie posters to date.
Another classic league member that fans have speculated to be in the film is Hal Jordan's Green Lantern, who is slightly name dropped when Steppenwolf claims that earth has "No Protectors, No Lanterns, No Kryptonians..." This, in turn, is a big reveal from the trailer showing that the fan favorite hero may be making an appearance prior to the already announced Green Lantern Corps film. Some have even speculated that he maybe be the figure Alfred is talking to at the end of the trailer rather than Superman, but its still up in the air at this point.
Currently, Avengers helmer Joss Whedon is being credited with finishing the film after original director Zack Snyder was forced to take leave from making the film due to family circumstances. Our thoughts and prayers continuously go out to the Snyder family in their time of need. Thankfully the film is in good hands with someone who knows a thing or two about superhero team-up films. The trailer gives us some great humorous moments remeniscent of The Avengers, including some lines from Ezra Miller's nervous Flash, Ray Fisher's Cyborg taking over the Batwing, and Jason Momoa's Aquaman just having a blast.
Visually it has been noted that the overall aesthetic of the film has been changed since the initial second trailer's release to the public. It is unclear how many changes were made from Snyder's original film, but that won't be determined until the film is released later on this year. While JL has already shown a more humorous side of the DCEU, this trailer highlighted on that shift in tone. Even the color pallet seems brighter and more vibrate than past trailers as you can see in the screen grabs below:
What do you look forward to from the Justice League film, and who do you think Alfred was talking to at the end of the trailer? Sound off below in the comment section!

See The DeLorean, Iron Giant, and More In The First Trailer For Steven Spielberg's 'Ready Player One'

Comic-Con brings us so many amazing trailers, concept art, and announcements for all our favorite superhero movies. In a way, its really become what the convention is all about thanks to studios like Marvel always stealing the show. Well know one would've expected a trailer for a non-comic related movie to leave such a big impression on everyone, but Ready Player One certainly knows their demographic. Based on a book packed with 80s references and set a virtual reality video game world, Ready Player One is a nerd's dream. And as if that wasn't enough, the legend Steven Spielberg himself is going to be behind the camera for this one.

Below is the first trailer for Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One:

Right off the bat, the trailer itself is already full of some blink and you'll miss it cameos and references. As soon as Sheridan's character Wade Watts enters the virtual world known as the OASIS, we can see Harley Quinn and Deathstroke walk past his avatar. We also see whats going to be his ride in the movie, the DeLorean from Back to the Future. As a huge BTTF fan, I'm excited to see the iconic car back in action. There's also a shot of the bike from Akira, Freddy Krueger getting shot in the face, and the Iron Giant (One of my favorite child movies). That's not to mention the trailer is set to a remix of Willy Wonka's Pure Imagination song. As a nerd and eighties fan myself, all these references couldn't make more more excited for the film.
I've already read people online who are skeptical of the film's plot, as the trailer focuses more on the visuals and references. We know Wade Watts character lives in a poor area called The Stacks in the year 2045, where everyone is a part of a virtual reality game called OASIS. The game's creator James Halliday (Mark Rylance) passes away, and leaves behind basically an egg hunt filled with riddles and puzzles for the gamers. Whoever wins will receive the empire left behind by Halliday, hence the key we see going into the box at the end of the trailer.
So what did you think of the Ready Player One trailer? What other references and characters would you like to see? Let us know below!

Chris Miller and Phil Lord No Longer Directing 'Han Solo' Movie; Ron Howard Has Replaced Them

Whether you were looking forward to the upcoming Han Solo movie Disney has in the works or not, Star Wars fan will be concerned to hear that the project has lost both of its directors. Many were excited to see young filmmakers Phil Lord and Chris Miller; best known for their work on hits such as 21 Jump Street and The LEGO Movie, give their take on the young iconic character. But whats even more concerning is how far the movie was into production, with only three weeks left of principal photography. As troubling as all this news may sound, the studio has thankfully found a replacement in proven Oscar winning director Ron Howard (Apollo 13).

The report of Lord and Miller's departure certainly came out of left field, and was announced by LucasFilm themselves on their website. Both the studios and director cited creative differences as the reason for this parting of ways, and Miller and Lord released the following: “Unfortunately, our vision and process weren’t aligned with our partners on this project. We normally aren’t fans of the phrase ‘creative differences’ but for once this cliché is true. We are really proud of the amazing and world-class work of our cast and crew,”
While it was originally believed that the duo stepped down from the project by choice, Variety has revealed they were actually fired by producer Kathleen Kennedy. There were apparently many issues on the set, and Lord and Miller were not getting the freedom they were used to on their past projects. The directors also reportedly butted heads with the cast and writer Lawrence Kasdan, and had several disagreements with the direction they were taking. Another deciding factor was apparently that the film was too much of a comedy; something the pair are none for specializing with, but LucasFilm wanted a more grounded Han Solo adventure.
Losing directors has become more and more common these days, with big studios such as Marvel, Warner Bros., and LucasFilm not allowing much freedom for most of their projects. Having said that, firing directors four months into production is much less common, and has led to some understandable concern from fans. Thankfully bringing on someone with the experience and polish of Ron Howard should help ease movie goers, as it seems the project will be in the right hands. Howard has took to Twitter to state the following about the whole situation: I hope to honor the great work already done & help deliver on the promise of a Han Solo film.
So are you worried Lord and Miller aren't directing Han Solo? Do you think Ron Howard was right choice to replace them? Let us know below!

'Black Panther' Teaser Trailer Gives A Detailed Look At Klaue, Wakanda, Erik Killmonger, and More

Tom Holland's Spider-Man may have been the most memorable addition to the MCU we were introduced to in Civil War, but how could anyone forget Chadwick Boseman's portrayal of the King of Wakanda himself. Black Panther is a character fans such as myself have been dying to see on screen for years, both alongside The Avengers, and eventually in his own standalone movie. But the film had been discarded and postponed for so long, many of us figured it might never even happen. Well Marvel certainly made up for lost time but now only casting such a talented actor in the lead role, but also bring on board one of the best up and coming directors in the industry, and a cast that will make your jaw drop. Now we finally get our first taste of what to expect, thanks to an all new trailer.

Below is the first teaser trailer for Ryan Coogler's Black Panther:
And here's the official poster many fans have argued has been terribly photoshopped:
After seeing this trailer, its hard not to get insanely hyped for this movie being a Black Panther fan. Marvel managed to nab a very proven director with Ryan Coogler (Creed), and it shows just through the cinematography and costume designs seen in the trailer. You can tell how elaborate and thorough Coogler's design of Wakanda is, with the perfect mix of futuristic and African influences. The movie's costumes and settings also show us a lot of color which seems to be of great importance to Marvel lately (See Thor: Ragnarok and Guardians Vol. 2). Overall fans couldn't have asked for a better big screen adaption of the complex and advanced Wakanda we know from the comics.
As for the characters, there's definitely a lot of faces both familiar and new throughout this trailer. We get a look at returning characters Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and Klaue (Andy Serkis); who is a famous Black Panther villain. But it doesn't seem Klaue will be the main villain of the film, as we get several fight sequences involving Michael B. Jordan's Erik Killmonger. Surely Coogler brought on his favorite collaborator to play the film's title villain, especially one with as rich a history with T'Challa as Killmonger. We also get a look at Winston Duke's Man-Ape, but it still isn't clear how important of an antagonist he will be.
So what did you think of the Black Panther trailer? Do you think it could be one of Marvel's best solo movies yet? Let us know below!

'Black Mirror' Actress Hannah John-Kamen Joins 'Ant-Man and The Wasp' In A Key Role

Its crazy to think that its already been two years since Ant-Man hit theaters, and managed to make audiences care about a character none of them knew. Between losing director Edgar Wright, and deciding not to make Hank Pym the title character of the film, there were many doubts surrounding the film before its release. Thankfully, it was a success with both audiences and critics, and led Marvel to squeeze in a 2018 sequel into their already clustered schedule. The movie will be bringing back its original cast and director, in hopes of recapturing the magic of the first. We haven't heard much about Ant-Man and The Wasp, but we now our first bit of casting news, and its apparently for a pretty major part.

Variety has revealed that actress Hannah John-Kamen has been cast in Ant-Man and The Wasp, but her role is still under wraps. Apparently several actresses have been testing for the role for months now, but John-Kamen was able to win over the folks at Marvel. The British actress has many credits to her name including appearances in Black Mirror and Game of Thrones, as well as a small part in The Force Awakens. But the Ant-Man sequel is just one of many major upcoming films on the actress' resume, including a lead role in Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One, and a part in the Tomb Raider reboot.
Not much is known about the film's plot, but we do now that Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Michael Pena, and Evangeline Lily will all be returning to their respecting roles. Lilly's Hope van Dyne will finally get her chance to suit up as the new Wasp, and fight alongside Rudd's Scott Lang as the famous comic book duo. We also know that director Peyton Reed is returning, and the film will tackle Janet van Dyne's character and saving her from the Quantum Realm. Scott Lang was able to escape it in the first movie, so its likely Janet can also be saved somehow after all these years of being stuck there.
Its possible that John-Kamen could be playing the role of a young Janet van Dyne, who possibly hasn't aged from being in the Quantum Realm for so long. She could also be playing a villain in the film, which fits the major role description. The first film sort of invented its own villain mixing Darren Cross and Yellowjacket, so they might be doing the same with the antagonist for the sequel. There's even the possibility John-Kamen is playing the second female Yellowjacket from the comics, he was in fact a villain.
So are you familiar with Hannah John-Kamen? Who do you think she's playing? Let us know below!

'New Mutants' Casts Blu Hunt, Charlie Heaton, and Henry Zaga As Mirage, Cannonball, and Sunspot

If you grew up the original X-Men movies, chances are you've always pictured the team as adults rather than young teens with powers. But the new generation of movie goers has grown up on a whole new set of teen actors as the X-Men, and its given spotlight to so much young talent in Hollywood. Now another X-Men related series will apparently be doing the same, as Josh Boone's  (The Fault in Our StarsNew Mutants has completed it main cast of heroes. You may recognize some faces from recently successful TV shows and movies, but these are sure to be the biggest roles most of these actors have ever experienced.

The project has brought on two actors have recently had success on Netflix hit shows, Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) and Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why) as best friends Cannonball and Sunspot. Sunspot actually appeared in Days of Future Past, but has been recast for this film. Heaton has already made an impression on the big screen in Shut In, but was a standout in Stranger Things as Will Byer's older brother Jonathan. Zaga on the other hand has only had experience with TV roles, but surely impressed the studio with his role as Brad in 13 Reasons
As for the role of Mirage, Josh Boone saved the casting for last as its one of the most pivotal characters on the team. They were reportedly down to actresses Blu Hunt (The Originals) and True O'Brien (Queen Sugar), but the latter ended up winning the part. Hunt is part Native American like her character, and doesn't have too many credit to her name yet. Casting a relatively unknown as such a key character is certainly interesting, and will hopefully prove to be a smart move by Boone and co.
Fans who have been following the New Mutants production now by now that two roles were already cast, Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) as Wolfsbane, and Anya Taylor-Joy (Split) as Magik. Both actresses are very proven, and we can expect them to carry a lot of the package as the film's leads. We also learned that James McAvoy's Charles Xavier will not be featured in the movie, which comes as a surprise as the New Mutants were the first graduates of his school in the comics. Director Josh Boone has also described the movie as horror, and as a cross between Stephen King and John Hughes' work.
So what do you think of the New Mutants cast? Are you interested in seeing an X-Men movie without any of the original members? Let us know below!
